For over three decades, my professional life has been rooted in Real Estate, a career that has helped me shape my understanding of people and my love of working with them. At the same time, there has always been another equally important thread running through my life- my passion for wellness and helping others manage stress. Buying or selling a home is never just a transaction- it is deeply emotional, often stressful, and always meaningful. I have loved this work, not only for the pace and challenge but mostly for the human connections it fosters.
Long before conversations about mindfulness and self-care became mainstream, I found myself drawn to practices that nurtured both the body and the mind. I began practicing yoga over 40 years ago and eventually did my teacher training. What started as a personal practice and journey evolved into sharing these tools with others.

Along side was my sister who shared similar passions, and over 20 years ago, with lots of training, we began working together. With full time careers, as well as raising a family, we began running workshops offering tools such as yoga, mindfulness, breathwork and journaling. We eventually started a company and brought these tools into school boards- supporting both students and educators with practical, life-long strategies for emotional well-being. Over time we have expanded into community groups and corporate teams. We also wrote a book together incorporating many of the daily tools we have shared over the years. We have seen firsthand how simple, consistent practices can create a lasting impact on every day living- helping others feel more grounded, resilient, and self aware.
As my wellness endeavours have always supported my real estate career without compromise, I recently experienced these two parts of my life- real estate and wellness- come together in a deeply personal way. This past year we sold our family home of 29 years; raising our family and the first home I have ever sold personally. Professionally I have sold hundreds of homes over the years. Despite my years of experience and a clear and positive sense that we were ready, what seemed like a familiar process became more personal and complex. This was not just a property; it was a home filled with memories and meaning, making the experience both profound and at times, overwhelming. Leaving a home, you have lived in for many years can feel as if you are leaving a part of yourself behind. Even though you are bringing all the memories with you, it can still be an emotional experience, destabilizing, exciting and fearful all at the same time. My mantra through the moving experience was “embrace change, face forward and see the light.”

What supported me through this monumental transition was not just my professional background, my incredible family, and friends, but the inner tools and practices I have shared with so many others over the years. These tools allowed me to move through the experience with greater ease, clarity, and steadiness, even when emotions ran high. I rarely missed a day of yoga, exercising and walking in nature. This helped me feel grounded when I was often feeling destabilized.
The experience has given me an even deeper understanding of what my clients go through. It reinforced that no matter how prepared we are, transitions can bring unexpected emotional layers.
Today, I see my work as a seamless integration of both worlds. My extensive training in real estate allows me to guide clients with expertise and confidence, while my background in wellness enables me to support them on a more human and emotional level. Real Estate has been my work-life and wellness is my life-work.
The journey continues to evolve, and I remain deeply committed to both paths. Ultimately in the end, it is not only about the space we move through, but how we move through the space, with awareness, resilience, love, and care.
