There’s a reason so many people are drawn to the pockets of countryside just north of Toronto-King, Caledon, Mono, Mulmur, Creemore, Erin. For some, it’s the pull toward a quieter, full-time lifestyle. For others, it’s the dream of having a place where family can gather on weekends, close enough to the city that the drive doesn’t feel like a commitment.
I’ve always understood that pull, and it’s why these properties have become the focus of my work.

Selling country and equestrian real estate is an entirely different world from selling in the city. These homes have layers: the land, the water systems, the barns and outbuildings, the conservation considerations, and, in the case of equestrian properties, the way a farm actually functions. You can’t walk into these listings and simply admire the kitchen. You have to understand the practicality of the layout, and how the property supports the lifestyle the buyer wants.
That’s the part I love. It’s where experience matters.

Over the years, I’ve learned what details truly make a difference to buyers up here. I’ve walked countless fields, toured every style of barn, and seen the way families use these properties in every season. That familiarity helps me guide people toward the right fit-whether they’re planning a full-time move or just want a place where they can unplug and breathe.
And on the selling side, our approach has become something people recognize us for. We take a lot of pride in how we present these properties. Every listing gets the same level of attention, from the photography to the narrative we build around it. I’ve always believed that marketing should feel thoughtful and editorial-something that reflects the lifestyle the property offers, not just the number of bedrooms.
We’ve become known for that style because it works. It attracts the right buyers, the ones who appreciate the land, the setting, the barns, the views, and all the things that make country living special. Our insight into what buyers value allows us to highlight the features that matter, not just the obvious ones.

At the heart of it, this is a very specific corner of the market. It requires knowledge, patience, and the ability to see what makes each property unique. But that’s exactly why I enjoy it. Helping people step into this lifestyle is incredibly rewarding and something I’m grateful to be able to do.
