The summer may be winding down, but the events in Collingwood have just started to ramp up! The cool summer nights are quickly approaching, and the best way to enjoy them is at some of the great events in and around the Collingwood and Southern Georgian Bay area. Here are a few events coming up that we are excited for:
Collingwood’s Century of Classics – August 18
This is the first year of classic celebrations, recognizing all of the phenomenal kinetic art that many have created in the form of re-engineered breathtaking vehicles. Visitors are invited to see today’s stunning supercars and future electrics and hybrids. The show will be presented on Collingwood’s historic Main Street and continues along the entire harbour. Enjoy the great food served up street side by Collingwood’s many fine restaurants and take advantage of the fine weather to explore everything the heart of Collingwood has to offer. The big finale of the evening’s festivities will be the iconic rock band Lighthouse performing at the Eddy Bush Arena.

Brought to you by the Georgian Bay Folk Society, who generally encourages folk music and other folk arts in the community at large, this event is filled with talented musicians and artisans brought together by this amazing community.
