The Maker’s Hand
This annual fall show is produced by the Prince Edward County Arts Council and is the perfect spot to find unique gems from up-and-coming as well as established artisans from across Ontario and Quebec. Visit the Picton Fairgrounds over the first weekend of November to explore the wide variety of handmade goods available for purchase at The Maker’s Hand. With 40 exhibitors, you are bound to find something great to take home with you!
Firelight Lantern Festival
Founded in 2013 by artist collective The Department of Illumination, this festival has been an annual highlight in The County. The festival acts as a beacon to encourage our residents to create their own source of light that they can bring into their hearts and homes to sustain them through the darkness, especially in the winter. The Firelight Lantern Festival is a great community gathering that allows participants to build their lanterns and come together to light them and set them free into the night sky!
